Shambhala, Wisdom and Prajna come to mind as good publishing houses. If you are interested in the Prajnaparamita sutras, Edward Conze is the acknowledged expert translator. Max Müller's Sacred Books of the East series is interesting historically as being the first English translations of many sutras, but the translations are a bit antiquated nowadays. I often find it interesting to compare different translations. Coming at a difficult passage from two or more different viewpoints often gives a clearer picture of what the original author was trying to convey. Keith
