Hello Rocket Scientist.

What I meant is that Balance808 was into this stuff.

Thank-you for the valuable input. Actually it is written for my English Composition class. Deciding how to start this essay, I put in a devotional CD (Bhajan?) and I had a vision of how I should start--by describing the death and burial of Srila Prabhupada. I was convinced that I could not write it any other way; I thought it needed the emotional force of those images to create the emotional connection to the author and teachings that I had. (At this point I was in tears and realized I had never rejected this religion at an emotional/ spiritual level--only an intellectual level.) Hmmmm but I don't have the film so used a logical, colorless introduction.

For the final we have the option to rewrite one of our essays, so I will ask if I can rewrite this one using my original idea (I should have the disk by then.)

One idea is to ask if I can change it to a descriptive essay and another idea is to leave it as a comparison between these books....the trick would be to make the reader emotionally but not intellectually connected (as I was). That should segue into the comparison.

I think Srila Prabhupada wrote the first book in 1970 and that our mission to the moon was his inspiration. I'm guessing he disapproved of the space mission. It's kind of weird to relate this to yoga--at least not for a beginner in my opinion. (Although Iím sure others here know much more than I do.)
