Reading your post again, I realize that I had missed your point (prophesies etc) and I donít think this lack of discussion is a matter of being more or less self-oriented. Itís true that globally people tend to be more touched by stuff pertaining to their own surroundings, after all we live in a physical world, but here at Vegsource people are MUCH more sensitive to the horror and suffering of this world as it is, and so I think that this relative silence is due to the fact that weíre grieved and speechless. I think that silence can have two opposite causes, either indifference or lots of concern. However, you spoke out loud what must have occurred to many. By the way, all those scientists are SO knowledgeable, they can explain exactly how these things happen and instantly produce some exquisite geological maps etc. How come that they canít make it to understand the link between their meat-eating habits and all this (global warming, poverty, disasters etc)? Beats me, really!
