Seems to me that you can keep your eyes focused on the cradle and the cross and conveniently forget all about the in between (and afterwards!) events, but you can’t cross Xmas out! Like some are trying to do these days, including those who claimed that it changed their lives but just won’t pronounce the word Christmas out of sheer political interest.

For Christian isn’t just who claims to be so, but everyone who cares more about others than himself at any moment of his life. Seems to me that it’s just what you are doing now, E.C. – re: your post about Tsunami disaster. How right you are about this!

Seems to me the above article is very far-reaching indeed as you can analyze it from many points of view! i.e. to be born among animals and dye like one of them should strike a chord in the heart of all loving Christians on the Earth. But they trust the Scriptures more than their own heart unfortunately, not realizing that these might very well have been conveniently twisted and remodeled so as to be marketable (always that fateful intermingling of religion and politics). Or they just don’t want to hear the truth, any more than they did 2000 years ago and before!! Vegetarianism isn’t too easy to share, is it? Anyone has it easy with this?
