Even though the author seems to be an Anglican, the article has a bit of a Jehovah's Witness flavor to it from where I stand (i.e., as an unbeliever who grew up in a mainstream Christian family and only has a slight knowledge of the JW religion). It may be my own limited perception, but the JWs do seem more sincere in their beliefs and appear to practice a more humane version of Christianity than the one I tend to associate with mainstream Christians.

To be very clear, I don't share the JWs' religious beliefs and never will. But whenever I see what I consider a positive example of "Christian values," I'm much more apt to think of the Witnesses than of my own (fairly religious Christian) family. And this is the second article recently posted to another site to make me think so.
