Hello, In this issue there is an article about Thyroid disease. An author Kaayla Daniel, PhD, CCN , who wrote "The Whole Soy Story" say she thinks a big offender of thyroid problems is soy. She said some of soy's components may block the key enzyme that makes thyroid hormone. Would anyone know where she might have gotten this information? Does anyone know about her? If it were true wouldn't some Asian cultures be riddled with thyroid problems since they eat a good amount of soy? I have never heard of such a thing.
