There are a number of features that separate the two machines under discussion, as pointed out in a third party review that was posted here a month ago*. The internal seal was one of them.

The reviewer who looked into both machines ordered and reviewed the latest shipments*.

I have a SoyQuick soymilkmaker that is 3 years old and without the internal seal--it is great. My SoyaJoy was did not have the internal seal either, and it died in less than 2 years. Must have been something else that caused it to overheat and burn, all of a sudden. I expectmy soymilk makers to last at least 5 years.

There are many factors to consider when purchasing any appliance. In addition to safe and sturdy machines, we should value reliable customer service, and companies willing to invest in ongoing product upgrades.
