Do not be concerned. I have been vegetarian for more than 35
years, vegan since 1990 and consuming more soy than ever.
Asians have been eating soyfoods for thousands of years and they
are well-nourished and a lot slimmer and healthier than Americans
or others in western culture. And contrary to the propaganda, they
eat soy every day--from childhood--early and often!
Do not fall for the negative PR campain tactics of the dairy and
meat producers, they are reacting to an exploding market for
healthy alternaive soy products.
If you are reading posts here you will have seen many which mirror
this response. Enjoy all of the wonderful new soyfoods and do try
wheat gluten products, too. Seitan or wheat gluten is another dairy
free alternative that can be used to replace unhealthy animal
products.
