Yes. For one thing the machine head is more compact and easier to maneuver. I do wash the machine top (coils and blade cover,) w/a vegetable type brush as soon as the milk is finished. Please watch the new videos, and refer to my response to Ryan's question about making tofu. The cleanup there is just the pitcher, strainer, and press. It's a really cool machine.
