I got one of the prototypes as soon as it was available, and really
put it through the paces. I heard about the filterless and "grind
right" technologies, the handy transfer pitcher and strainer--when
I was told that I could even make soy Cappuccino with it, I was
jazzed! And I was not disappointed.
The "filter cup" has been a standard feature of automatic soymilk
makers for as long as I have used them (must be 8 years). If you
watch the video "Pennies a Gallon" you will see the beans added to
the canister with the water. Formerly, the soaked beans were
placed into a filter cup, which was then attached to the machine
head.
The Premier Soyquick Milk Maker has something called "grind right
technology," guaranteeing a perfect grind every time, and a 7
year warranty, pretty much unheard of. The new SoyQuick really is
that different from other machines, including the previous models
from SoyQuick. To answer to your question. The new machine is a
study in user-friendly simplicity.
