I undrstand that there are different types of soy, but I disagree that soy does not affect my synthroid consumption. I would take my synthroid an hour later eat cereal (same cereal for years) with silk soy milk, and drank half a cup of soy milk as well, I did this for 2 months when I got my thyroid checked it was INSANE, my level was 74.38 and I was so hypothyroid. I stopped drinking the soy milk and have been fine ever since. Now I have a bowl of miso soup before supper every evening and my synthroid is fine. I think it is the type of soy and how it is prosessed and when you have it. I do not think you can have soy the same time as you synthroid or at least soy milk. I have not had a problem since, with my thyroid, which I am also on .75, therefore I think everyone should see what works for their body and what they need, test yourself to be sure just do it by the month instead of 2 months.
