| | Subject: | using soyapower to make lower fat soymilk | |
Date: | September 4, 2006 at 10:28 am PST |
Is there any proven recipe to make a lower fat soy milk using either the soyapower? I was thinking perhaps reducing the soybeans, using same amount of water, and using a lower fat per weight grain or something of that nature like oatmeal/oatbran and white or brown rice might help...but I don't know for sure. I was also wondering if anyone has had any luck making one that is still fairly thick. Two more questions: Has anyone used any kind of stabilizer in home made soy milk (starch, xanthan, agar, irish moss, guar gum etc) AAANNDDD....If given the opportunity to get a gold coffee filter...does it make the end product of the milk that much better? Thanks for any help.
