| | Subject: | Basics of making soymilk--1st time user | |
Date: | August 26, 2006 at 11:56 am PST |
I have borrowed a friend's SoyaJoy and made a batch today. I weighed 80 g of soy beans from Wild Oats and filled it the the first line. It's got a thick, "chewy" texture. Does anyone have a recipe they could share? Also, can anyone recommend a container to store it? I've looked on the web for a nalgene-type pourable container, but can't find one. I poured some of the hot soymilk into a glass tumbler and the rest into a plastic container, but I'm afraid it will absorb some plasticy taste.
