I think most soymilk makers(the machines- not people) do this automatically. They heat the water and beans to a certain temp. -around 80 F- before they start grinding. Wonderful advice tho for those who make soymilk by hand. I tries my hand at it a couple times, but was painfully unaware of the need for the beans to be blanched, and I wound up with an awful excuse for soymilk. I am spoiled by storebought soymilk.
