Subject:	A note about preparing veg hot dogs

I don't know what the manufacturers of vegetarian hot dogs use for the cases (I
do know what the meat dogs use...and you REALLY don't want to know...yuck)

When grilled or oven baked, the case develops a texture somewhat like plastic.
if you don't boil them in water for a few minutes beforehand.

I haven't prepared any for quite a while so this may not be true of all vegie dogs
these days.
