I was really surprised especially coming from someone who "sells" soy products. I can see if it was someone on the street, but this was a person who worked at the store. I would have thought she was much more versed in the benefits of soy. I really haven't read too much as far as fermented soy products go vs. tofu and such. I just know that I like using fresh tofu and feel great not using meat products- of course I am expanding into grains and beans, but soy products is just so easy to work with. My youngest son still gives me a hard time with our new eating style-
