Just check out the studies in her book if you are skeptical. Soy has been known in ag literature since the '30's to block thyroid in chickens and was used in hyperthyroidism as a treatment.

The American Heart Association and other nationals follow the dogma of the FDA and USDA- supporting US Big Ag lobbies.

Also Pub Med selectively chooses its articles and is a politically correct organization. Not all scientific literature is available.
