I tried that when I was in High School one time. It turned out really really bad(granted I probably did it wrong)! Something I wonder about is the freshness. I doubt soy flour retains a fresh taste for very long.
I speculate that the most economical route (speaking strictly from a monetary standpoint would be the blender method)
