Subject:         FAKE MEAT

My inquiry is regarding the fake meat products. Is this stuff really bad for us? Is isolated Soy Protien bad if you eat it often? examples are "Riblets" by Gardenburger, "Chick Strips" by Morningstar.
I realize that Tofu is far better then these products but are these bad to eat?
Can it raise your Cholesterol levels even if you are a vegetarian? Here is a quote i saw on here.
"Hypothyroidism is associated with elevated cholesterol levels and it in turn can be caused by overconsumption of undercooked soy products."

I'm a vegetarian and I'm just a little confused about all this. Maybe someone can clear that up for me.
