In addition to traditional soy products, Americans are consuming processed soyfoods in the form of meat analogs, in record numbers. High in fiber, low in fat, cholesterol free, and pretty tasty, this is by far healthier than eating the bloody muscle, ribs, and limbs of a tortured animal--in effect "a rotting carcass." (BTW--humans are not carnivores--we don't have the teeth, gut, or tolerance for it!!)
The soybean is sacred all over Asia. And with good reason. Asians do eat soyfoods EVERY DAY. Soymilk, tofu, tempeh, miso, and several other traditional soyfoods are consumed early and often.
Regarding the Lion. They are cats---and cats ARE carnivores and require taurine, an amino acid that is only available in flesh, unlike humans, canines, and pretty much every other mammal on earth.
Like billions of people on earth, (and every cow sent to slaughter) I consume soyfoods every day: Homemade soymilk (Laura Beans of course) tofu, tempeh, soynuts-lots of soynuts, (homemade and Tosteds) Miso soup YUMMM. and the occasional soy burger, Gimme Lean, etc. Check it out! http://www.vegtv.com
