I don't make raw almond milk, but all the non-dairy milks I have made are much smoother in texture than any of the other machines produce. The SoyQuck comes with a strainer and a transfer container that's a perfect size. I pour the soymilk through the strainer (which fits on top) flavor and cool the hot soymilk, and save the okara to use in recipes and add to my Yellow Lab's bowl. My dogs are always vegetarian . 3:o]
