Hi,

I'm 41 year old female, born in Kenya, with Indian roots but living in the west since 1970. I have never married and never had any children. I was born a vegetarian as my parents were from a background of Jainism. I don't drink, hang in bars, pubs, or smoke.

I consider myself to be an honest, kind, creative, caring and down to earth person. I love music especially indian classical music, philosophy, being with nature, spending quality time with people, studying etc. I enjoy walking, driving, singing, cooking, travelling, learning new languages and much more.

My mother language is Gujarati, but English is also like my second mother language. I am also fluent in Spanish and have studied a number of other languages.

I try to be optimistic and positive about things in life. I believe in performing my duties to the best of my ability.

I am happy to appreciate and notice the small gifts in life, like the sun shining, rainfall, the moonlight, the ocean, a smile, a kind gesture etc

The most important thing to me about my soul mate or life partner is to have compatible personalities and philosophies about life..... someone spiritual, honest, kind, gentle, loving, giving, fun, sometimes naive, likes to laugh, is introspective but communicative, a bit soft spoken, loyal, sensitive compassionate etc.

I am looking for someone from a decent family with good heart willing to care, love with understanding and respect each other for who we are. Someone who speaks Gujarati would be a bonus as would someone from a Jain background, however, I think it is more important that we share the similar values in life than our background. I would also be particularly interested in someone who meditates or prays regularly

I am looking for someone preferably aged between 40 and 50 years, however, I believe that age doesn't have to be a barrier if there is a real connection but maybe 35+. I am looking for that special person to share everything with me as a friend, soul mate and life partner.

I believe that God works in mysterious ways He makes us aware of the important people in our life - our parents, family, and friends - almost immediately. But the one person who will matter the most - the one we will love, honour, and cherish -He keeps a secret from us. Only He knows, and only He decides when, where, and how. He will guide us to our soul-mate or life partner. That remains a mystery in life!!
