Subject:	no vegans in central california

I personally have been a vegan for 2 years now and i vegetarian for 5 years prior to that. and i would like to know why is it that their doesn't seem to be any sociable vegans in central California? Am i one of a dying race? Has it really become a hop in hop out fad life style?
