I too am vegetarian and have hypothyroidism and have found that the reason I had no energy was all the soy and flax I was eating. Both soy and flax are phytoestrogens and make the thyroid sluggish. Try eating less cruciferous vegitables as well because they also make the thyroid sluggish. Also, have you tried any kelp or Dr. Christopher's Herbs for the thyroid. I find Dr. Christopher's seem to work the best for me.
