Emily, Don't be so hard on yourself. Most people make a switch to vegetarian and as they get used to that way of life they readily move to vegan. It is just a natural thing. I still have trouble telling people that I'm veg. Most people just don't get it. But I think your family would be more supportive than you think. Good Luck! Lorrie
