I eat a vegan diet. A blood test several weeks ago showed a very high B12. My doctor asked me to stop taking supplements and be retested in 2 weeks. I received those results yesterday; the B12 is still through the roof - even for a carnivore. There are some other medical issues, but nothing the doctor has said - nor that I've been able to find on the internet - suggest any correlation. Do you have thoughts on what could be causing the B12 to be high? (The fact that's it's water soluble has me truly baffled.) |
