Just finished reading Green For Life. This book is an excellent addition to Healthy at 100, because it tackles the main thing that is deficient in all diets throught the world. Greens! It is an amazing book. I am not a raw foodist yet, but I truly believe that we need to try to eat more greens. Chimpanzees in the wild consume about 300 grams a fiber a day. Over 40% of their natural diets is just green leafy vegetables. I recommend anyone interested in healthy living read this book. I know vegetarians that drink all the time...eat doughnuts and junk food, but think they are incredibly healthy because they are vegetarians. They have come to the conclusion that being a vegetarian makes you invincible. Knowledge is power. Vegetarians need to find out what truly makes a person healthy. It is not a trendy label...
