as far as the doctors go, well they only really preach about the
health issues surrounding a plant based diet so if eating a little bit
of fish is not bad for your health, then they would understandably
not be in opposition to it and even practice it. but as for john, well
he most definitely has emphasized the animal welfare side of
things and so for him to say that eating animals is cruel and yet eat
them, EVER, would be hypocritical. that's just my honest opinion.
his writing about the suffering of food animals is why i became
vegan in the first place.
