This is all true, but the quasi-vegan diet may be the most practical diet for humanity. It increases longevity and health and provides all essential nutrients without supplementation. Generally one on this diet would eat vegan 99% of the time and eat eggs or wild fish 1% of the time. I have been a vegan for five years, but this book is making me rethink my vegan diet. It is making me want a more practical diet. Environmentally eating organic eggs is not as damaging as eating dairy products or beef. I think even John Robbins can see that humanity will not completely embrace a vegan diet, but a large population of humans may embrace a plant-based diet with minimal animal products. I truly do not crave animal products at all, but since no society in history has embraced a vegan diet...why will they now in the fast food age?
