Thank you for your words of encouragement! I have reached a counselor at my local Domestic Violence Center. I am learning about the abuse cycle. In the meantime, I keep tossing around the idea of filing an injunction. I am very scared to do this because I am afraid of what he might do. I have visions of him destroying the house and property or hurting me in some way to get back at me for doing it. I just can't see how law enforcement could keep him away. If he wants to come when I am not here and have it, there is not much I can do. Or worse, I don't think I could sleep at night not knowing where he is. At least with him here, I know where he is and what the mood is. This sounds less frightening. But I will keep talking with my counselor about how I feel.
