and the bad news I have for you is this: can they change? maybe, in some cases. DO they change? no, almost never. cut your losses. this isn't love and isn't of God. go. this guy is very, very, very, unlikely to really change, although he is very likely indeed to say almost anything to keep you enchained. Do not listen to apologies and promises. They will evaporate like mist.
