I am sorry to hear about your situation.

Your life is in danger, and the lives of your children, if you stay. Nothing is worth that.

If money is tight, there are ways to survive until you can get a better job: shelters, friends, charities, government assistance. There is no way to survive if you are dead.

Worry about lawyers and mortgages later. You are not in a Christ-based marriage; you are in a violence-based marriage. You need to get to safety now.
