"What a tangled web we weave when first we practise to deceive." Well, you did lie to her, and the direct consequence of lying is that the other person loses trust in you. Trust is a fragile thing. Once it is lost, it is very, very hard to get it back. Some relationships never recover from a broken trust. You say you love her. Love is made up of many things, and among the most important are respect, trust and honesty. From here on, you have to respect her enough to be totally honest and trustworthy with her. You have to trust her to be able to handle the truth. You also need to be very patient, and realize that it will take her a long time to rebuild the trust that was lost. She is angry with you, and for good reason. Let her be angry until you can win back her trust. If you can't win it back, it's over. Keith
