I have tons of interests. No lack there. Most of the folks I meet through them are much, much younger than I am - the not-yet-married group. My acquaintances who are married tell me they have absolutely no time for any interests, and because they put time with family first, all social contacts revolve around family. As couples, they socialize only in couples; once kids come on the scene, their whole schedule revolves around their kids' carpools. They believe it is not okay to have individual friends, and they wouldn't have time for it anyway. How in the world do you manage it? and does your family mind your hanging with people that don't involve them?
