I think I will keep my dating life and my parenting apart. I co-parent, so it's do-able.

I guess what sucked about the situation was not the impact of it on me, but the impact on my son. I wasn't hurt - i was angry, but philosophical. My son didn't understand what went on. And he WAS hurt.

But as you say, live and learn, and my son is blessed with a natural resilience and maturity beyond his years. We will move on from this, and i will be more careful in the future.
