It scares me that you ask, "What could I give him that would make him know I really care and that would help our relationship develop more?" Those are things that no gift can do. Yet, in the right relationship, even the simplest gift can accomplish them. It is the relationship itself that tells him you really care and develops the relationship. The best gift is the one that shows him that you know him well. So, you need to find out from him what gift is the most appropriate. But not by just asking him, "What do you want?"!! Learn about him. What he likes to do. Especially, what he values. When you know what the right gift is, you will already have a deeper relationship. Keith
