Hi, Surya. Long time no see. This is a good example of why it is always good to get a quote in writing. Without a written document, you have a classic he-said-she-said situation. When someone refuses to accept payment after an argument, it is a sign that he is a classic hot-head who values pride more than money. Not that that helps your present situation, but it is something to keep in mind for the future. He may have already ordered and paid for the six blinds before you changed your mind. Perhaps he is unable to return them. This would be especially true if they were cut to fit, as blinds often are - cut merchandise usually cannot be returned. So, perhaps a reasonable compromise is for you to pay for materials for all six, but for labour only on the four. Of course, then you would be entitled to keep the other two blinds. Keith
