my mother has made this dessert for every special occasion that I can remember.
Cream Cheese Salad
2 small boxes of lemon jello
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 cup celery finely chopped
1 cup chopped pecans
1 8 oz. cream cheese
2 8 oz. whipping cream
dissolve jello in hot pineapple juice and water to make 2 cups.
add 2 cups cold water to jello
let stand in fridge for about an hour
add to that celery, pecans, and drained pineapple
beat cream cheese until smooth and add whipping cream and beat mixture
add to jello and stir in until mixed well.
let chill until ready and serve
