I think there are others like you. I think there is
nothing wrong with being a vegan that eats nutritional
yeast based cheeses, fake meats, tofu, tempeh, seitan,
etc, since they are still eating plant/grain based
foods. A lot of vegans used to eat meat and cheese and
do miss it. I am a vegetarian and I eat cheese, fake
meats, etc and I think that is awesome. I do eat
beans, but sometimes I do miss the chewiness of meat,
chicken fried steak which I make with seitan, etc. I
also have heard of vegans that mainly eat grains only
like pastas and the like. It's all gravy (veggie)to
me.
