Whole Wheat Biscuit Mix 9 cups sifted whole wheat flour (WW pastry flour, if available) 1/3 cup baking powder 1/4 cup sugar 1 Tbs salt 2 cups solid vegetable shortening In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Cut in shortening until the mixture resembles coarse meal. Store mixture in an airtight container. Use in recipes calling for store-bought biscuit mix.
