Subject:         My vegan saag paneer rec

Hello all,
Just wanted to share my saag paneer recipe with every one.


1 block extra firm tofu drained and pressed
miso paste
corn starch to dust
2 TBS oil to fry tofu


4 to 6 cups fresh greens such as spinach, collard greens or
mustard greens.
1 1/2 tbs curry powder
1 tps ground coriander
1 tsp ground turmeric
1 tsp ground cumin
1 1/2 tbs fresh ginger
3-4 cloves of garlic
3 shallots
2 TBS oil
1/2 cup almond milk

For the tofu cut it into 1/2 inch slices and coat both sides
with miso paste put into a dish and keep coating pieces of
tofu with miso to make a brick of miso covered tofu. I put
this in the refrigerator for 2 or 3 days. (I have heard of
people leaving it out overnight on counter but I just cant
do this.) After this time dredge the tofu in cornstarch
and fry in oil in a skillet. (you may omit frying the
tofu(don't put cornstarch on it either) if you are watching
fat content) let tofu drain on paper towel.

For the saag. Steam the greens until tender and set aside.
Next chop the ginger, garlic, and shallot and fry in skillet
till translucent or soft. Now add all ingredients (except
tofu) in to the blender and blend. Put all ingerdients
including tofu in a skillet and warm. Serve with basmati
rice or naan. Feel free to adjust spicing as preferred.
You can also add red chili flake if u want heat.
