Hi Deb

I found the following recipe posted on allrecipe.com and I was wondering if you could recommend some good egg/milk substitutions to make it vegan? I assume regular soy milk will work, but I'm not sure about the egg. Lemon juice and baking soda?

1 cup yellow cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup white sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 egg
1 cup milk
