Subject:         Converting Canned to Fresh Beans

An appetizer recipe I have calls for (1) 15-oz can of black-eyed peas and I have fresh. How many cups do I need to cook, and does this pertain to all beans - i.e. kidney, black beans, pinto beans, etc?
