Subject:         Sh-take mushrooms

Are the stems edible? An employee at the store where I buy them said "don't eat the stems" they're inedible. True? Thanks. When I tried to spell the name of the mushrooms correctly I got a message that said I was not permitted to enter that on the board--try again. That's kinda funny I think.
