A simple, easy way to add more whole grain to your cooking is to use your usual flour recipes, but substitute WHITE WHEAT FLOUR for the white flour. White wheat flour is a whole-grain wheat flour made from a lighter- colored wheat (white wheat, rather than the more common red wheat). Do not confuse this white wheat flour with regular white flour. I know it can be confusing, but once you find it you will understand! :) King Arthur Flour makes an excellent white wheat flour, and some supermarkets have a generic version. Read the labels to make sure that you are getting the whole-grain white wheat flour.
