Subject:         Stroganoff w strips & shrooms -- coming soon to your dining rooms

TVP Stroganoff

1 cup TVP chunks or strips
1 cup boiling water
3/4 cup water
2 tsps veg 'beef' bouillon powder
1 tsp oil
1 onion, peeled and chopped
1 cup vegan sour cream
1 cup canned chopped mushrooms, drained
1/4 cup tomato sauce

Cooked noodles

Mix 1 cup boiling water + 1 tsp bouillon powder.
Pour over TVP. Let stand 10 minutes.
Drain any excess liquid.
Heat oil in a frying pan.
Stir-fry TVP until browned.
Add onions and mushrooms, and stir-cook 2 minutes.
Combine sour cream, tomato sauce, 1 tsp bouillon powder, and 3/4 cup water.
Pour into frying pan.
Cook on medium-high heat for 15 minutes,
stirring gently and frequently.

Serve over hot, cooked noodles.
