Hi Chef Deb. I want to reheat beans and/or rice straight from the fridge. My oven doesn't work and I always burn everything up when I reheat on the stove top. So how this...I put the food on a dinner plate, put the dinner plate on or into a large bamboo steamer. The bamboo steamer goes in a wok that has an inch of water in it. Turn the heat to medium. Can I reheat with steam in the manner described? Thanks.
