This is a great boredom-breaker!
Grilled Tofu
1 block tofu, cut into thick slices
1 Tbs soy sauce or Bragg's Aminos
1 Tbs sesame oil (dark or light)
1 pinch stevia or other allowed sweetener
1/8 tsp dry minced garlic (or 1/4 tsp fresh)
1/4 tsp dried herbs (or 1/2 tsp fresh)
Dash of vinegar (or lemon juice, if allowed)
Other herbs and/or spices, if you like
Spread tofu slices on a baking sheet.
Mix remaining ingredients.
Drizzle or brush tofu with half of this mixture.
Put under broiler or on grill.
Cook until desired degree of doneness,
turning and basting as needed.
Serve immediately, along with a large salad.

When you can have rice again, you will find
that this is very nice with rice!
