You can add it to BBQ Beans, make BBQ Bean Burgers, make seitan skewers with mixed veggies or just
seitan and brush the BBQ sauce onto them.

Bean Sandwich Spread
Chef Deb

1 can refried beans
1 Tbs barbecue sauce
1 tsp brown sugar

Mix all together.

Store in fridge.

Baked Beans
Chef Deb

2 lbs small white beans
1 large onion, peeled and chopped
1/4 cup bakon bits or Tempeh bakon *(I would just
leave these out and add smoke seasoning)
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 Tbs mild molasses
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp mustard (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste

Soak beans overnight (in fridge).
Drain and rinse.
Put in a pot with water to cover + 1".
Bring to a boil. Boil for 10 minutes, skimming off
any
scum that forms.
Reduce heat to medium simmer.
Simmer, covered, for 1 hour.
Drain and rinse.
Preheat oven to 300 F.
Mix onion, bakon bits, brown sugar, molasses,
ketchup,
garlic powder, and mustard into the beans.
Put bean mixture into a greased casserole.
Cover casserole.
Bake for about 1 - 1 & 1/2 hours, or until beans are
very
tender,
adding a little water as needed to keep beans from
drying
out.
Add salt and pepper to taste just before serving.

VARIATION:

BBQ Baked Beans

Use BBQ sauce in place of ketchup.

QUICK METHOD:

Use canned beans, proceeding from "Mix onion,
bakon bits," etc.
