I have thrown a whole apple into my juicer but there is a lot of controversy on this. I have heard that too many apple seeds (approx 1/2 a cup) can make a person sick. That is a lot of juicing! Apparently seeds contain something like cyanide as cherry seeds do too. (Boy isn't that a comforting feeling!!) There are people who disagree with this. Probably to play it safe it would be best to remove core and seeds especially if you do alot of juicing. My favorite is carrot juice with celery. You can always use pulp for compost too if you find you can't use it all. I had that happen and that is what I did with it. Good luck and have fun with your new juicer!
